WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Vanilla Ice Cream

2. Red & Yellow Food Coloring

3. Whipped Cream

4. Sprinkles (chocolate & orange)

WHAT YOU DO:

1. Take two scoops of the vanilla ice cream and place it into a mixing bowl. Using a spoon, mash the ice cream around in the bowl until it is soft. Once the ice cream has softened, add a few drops of yellow food coloring to it and mix it up until all the ice cream is yellow. Now put the yellow ice cream into a clear (see-thru) glass. You can also use a clear plastic glass for little ones. Pack all the yellow ice cream down into the bottom of the glass. Place the glass into the freezer.

2. Repeat step one, this time adding red and yellow food coloring to make orange. Once all the ice cream is orange, take the glass out of the freezer and add the orange ice cream on top of the yellow. Pack it down. Return to freezer.

3. Wash out and dry your mixing bowl, and add two scoops of vanilla ice cream to the clean bowl. Mash it up until soft. Take the glass out of the freezer and add the vanilla ice cream on top of the orange. Get your whipped cream and add a scoop to the top of the vanilla ice cream. Add the sprinkles to the top of the whipped cream and you are done!

You can either serve immediately, or return to the freezer for later.

GHOSTLY FOOTPRINTS CRAFT

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Construction Paper - 1 black sheet, 1 white sheet, 1 yellow sheet

2. White Paint (Washable)

3. School Glue

WHAT YOU DO:

1. Paint the bottom of your child's left foot with the white paint.

2. Carefully have your child place his/her foot on the black construction paper that you have laid out on the floor. Make sure they keep their foot still while it is on the paper, or else it will smudge the paint.

3. Remove your child's foot from the paper.

4. Repeat steps one and two with your child's right foot.

5. Allow the footprints to dry. Once dry, help your child cut out a moon shape from the white constrution paper, and some some eyes and a mouth from the yellow construction paper.

6. Help your child glue the moon, eyes & mouth to the black construction paper.

Your Ghostly Footprints are complete and ready to be displayed!

2. 1 Container of Cake Frosting (White)

3. Red Food Coloring

4. 1 Small Bag of Slivered Almonds

WHAT YOU DO:

1. Bake the cookies according to the directions given. You can use any dough you want - the kind you slice may be the easiest.

2. Once the cookies are done, allow them to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cool, slice each cookie in half, making two half-circles.

3. Mix the red food coloring into the white frosting. Once all the frosting is red, spread a layer onto each cookie half.
