Let's face it, Mother's Day is easy. Most moms are happy with some flowers or home-made gifts followed by a delicious brunch. Dads can be a little harder to plan for, and there usually aren't as many restaurants that cater to the occasion.

If you still haven't finalized your Father's Day plans, you're in luck! Milpitas Patch has scoured the area in search of Dad-Friendly Events.

For the 6th year in a row, the is hosting their Father’s Day Car Show with over 40 vintage cars on display, including a 1900 Oldsmobile and a Stanley Steamer!

Plenty of the restaurants are putting together special menus to honor Dad this year, with several of them offering Dads free beers or burgers! Even better, let Dad pick out his own gift from one of the many shops such as Tommy Bahama or Best Buy.

What used to be an annual helicopter air show has transformed into a two-day festival featuring an up close look at military and commercial helicopters, but will also showcase gourmet food, microbreweries and live music. There will also be a massive KidsZone with rides and several activities to entertain everyone!
