Where/When: Milpitas City Hall, Tuesday, 1-4 p.m.

Why Go: Interested in securing a bank loan, leasing equipment or refinancing existing debt? Meet and consult with bank representatives at this workshop for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Organized by the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Centers of Northern California.

Leo B. Murphy Athletic Awards 

Where/When: Milpitas High gym, Wednesday, 6 p.m.

Why Go: Find out who are the high school's male and female athletes of the year, plus winners for each class, scholar athletes, and more.

Where/When: ,  Thursday, 2-7 p.m.

Why Go: In addition to carnival games and activities, Weller PTA introduces their first Wii Dance Party. Food includes snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, drinks, pizza and Jamba Juice. Bring your gently used books to swap for summer reading. O'Mei will provide a martial arts demonstration.

Pricing: Tickets are 4 for $1; Up to 12 tickets for food items or games.
