Arrested: August 1-9

Drug possession, burglary and assault were among the many recent arrests made by the Milpitas Police Department.

Tuesday, August 9

Assault with a deadly weapon. A 36-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested at Beaumere Way and Fontainbleu Avenue at 9:57 a.m.

Multiple charges. A 42-year-old Oakland woman was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle under the influence of alcohol with a suspend driver's license and violating probation. She had five priors for driving with a suspended driver's license.

Domestic abuse. A 24-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested at South Main Street and Great Mall Parkway. 8:54 p.m.

Sunday, August 7

Multiple charges and outstanding warrant. A 28-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, petty theft, buying or receiving parts of a fire hydrant or fire department connection that was been stolen. The man was also arrested for previous charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. North Milpitas and East Calaveras. 11:20 p.m.

Drug charge. A 54-year-old San Jose man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. West Curtis Avenue and South Main Street. 5:44 a.m.

Saturday, August 6

Assault and battery. A 35-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at Barber Lane and Bellew Drive. 2:30 p.m.

Friday, August 5

Outstanding warrant. A 48-year-old San Jose man was arrested for previous charges of violating parole and battery. South Main Street and Corning Avenue.1:55 a.m.

Burglary and resisting arrest. A 30-year-old Union City man was arrested at Great Mall. 3:50 p.m.

Thursday, August 4

Drug charges. A 48-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun. South Park Victoria and Sonoma drives. 10:47 p.m.

False police report. A 21-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested at North Jackson and McKee. 3:35 a.m.

Multiple charges. A 45-year-old San Jose man was arrested for disorderly conduct and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Landess Avenue and Highland Court. 12:54 p.m.

Wednesday, August 3

Outstanding warrant. A 39-year-old Riverbank man was arrested for previous charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing an opium pipe or any device used for unlawfully injecting or smoking. The man was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Andrade Road and Highway 680. 3:38 p.m.

Tuesday, August 2

Multiple charges. A 35-year-old Cupertino woman was arrested for domestic battery and false imprisonment. East Calaveras Boulevard and North Hillview Drive. 4:55 p.m.

Outstanding warrant. A 22-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for previous charges of operating a vehicle when his driving privilege was suspended or revoked for reckless driving. South Main Street and Great Mall Parkway. 6:15 a.m.

Monday, August 1

Drug charges. A 56-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. North Abel Street and Redwood Avenue. 1:24 p.m.

Violating protective order. A 35-year-old Redwood City man was arrested for violating a restraining order. North Abel Street and Weller Lane. 10:16 p.m.

Commercial burglary. A 37-year-old man, San Jose woman, 42, and San Jose man, 21, was arrested for commercial burglary, conspiracy, possessing burglary tools, prowling and trespassing. Wrigley Way and Sinclair Frontage Road. 11:26 p.m.
