Arrested in Milpitas: Aug. 26 – Sept. 2

Assault, Burglary, and Theft Arrests Keep Police in Milpitas Busy.

Sunday, Aug. 26

Petty theft. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft, and possession of a controlled substance. Great Mall Drive, near the Home Depot store. 3:55 p.m.


Monday, Aug. 27

Public intoxication. A 24-year-old Glendale man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Evergreen Way and Fallen Leaf Drive. 2:07 a.m.

Burglary. A 24-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of burglary, petty theft, and grand theft. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 4:53 p.m.

Petty theft. A 32-year-old San Jose woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft, and providing false identification to a peace officer. South Park Victoria Drive and Landess Avenue. 8:21 p.m.

Resisting arrest. A 41-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest. Saturn Court and Carnegie Drive. 10:05 p.m.

 

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Child molestation. A 29-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of child molestation. Corning Avenue and South Abel Street. 1:41 a.m.

Residential burglary. A 23-year-old San Jose woman was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary. North Park Victoria Drive and Admire Court. 2:38 p.m.

Residential burglary. A 26-year-old Fremont man was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, and on a parole hold. 2:38 p.m.

Commercial burglary. A 19-year-old male transient was
arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary. East Calaveras Boulevard and Town Center Drive. 6:04 p.m.

Fake checks. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing fake checks. Landess Avenue and South Park Victoria Drive. 6:40 p.m.

Burglary. An 18-year-old Long Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary, and conspiracy. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 8:53 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 29

Residential burglary. A 24-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary, and resisting a peace officer. Daniel Court and North Park Victoria Drive. 9:30 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 30

Drunken driving. A 38-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and driving without a license. East Calaveras Boulevard and North Hillview Drive. 1:24 a.m.

Suspended license. A 43-year-old Stockton woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, and failure to provide evidence of auto insurance. South Abbott Avenue and West Calaveras Boulevard. 6:35 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 48-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and on a parole hold. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 11:50 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 64-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Carnegie Drive and Edsel Street. 4:07 p.m.

Deadly weapon. A 24-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a loaded firearm, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and on a parole hold. North Ring and Mabury roads, San
Jose. 6:24 p.m.

 

Friday, Aug. 31

Criminal threats. A 61-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats, brandishing a weapon, and vandalism. Folsom Circle and Geneva Road. 8 a.m.

Failure to register. A 33-year-old Sunnyvale man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender. South Abel Street and West Calaveras Boulevard. 1:39 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 1

Drunken driving. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Olympic and South Park Victoria drives. 2:30 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 28-year-old Mountain View man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Main Street and Curtis Avenue. 11:01 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 2

Petty theft. A 51-year-old male transient was
arrested on suspicion of petty theft, misappropriation of lost property, and
resisting an officer. McCandless Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 1:47 p.m.

Aug. 31

Meth. A 43-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding $50,000 warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines after a traffic stop in Newark. He was booked into Fremont City Jail
