Arrested in Milpitas: Feb. 27 – March 9

Attempted murder, robbery, vandalism, and drug offenses among recent arrests made by police in Milpitas.

Monday, Feb. 27

Drunken driving. A 26-year-old Sunnyvale woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Abel and South Main streets. 2:28 a.m.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 29

Public intoxication. A 29-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Great Mall and Falcon drives. 9:05 p.m.

 

Thursday, March 1

Public intoxication. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, and delaying a peace officer. South Main Street and Serra Avenue. 1:18 a.m.

Meth. A 29-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines for sale, transporting a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Downing and Calaveras roads. 3:40 a.m.

Commercial burglary. A 23-year-old Milpitas woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, driving with a suspended license, and failure to drive inside marked traffic lanes. Berryessa and Vasona streets. 3:57 a.m.

Vandalism. A 27-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest, and parole violation. Greentree Way. 10:35 a.m.

Commercial burglary. A 24-year-old Oakland woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, and check forgery. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 5 p.m.

Controlled substance. A 28-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. Calaveras Ridge and Country Club Drive. 10:58 p.m.

 

Friday, March 2

Public disturbance. A 21-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of creating a public disturbance and resisting arrest. Great Mall and Comet drives. 1:06 a.m.

Robbery. A 22-year-old Los Angeles woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery, resisting arrest and providing false identification. Great Mall and Mustang drives. 5:23 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 50-year-old man, who refused to tell police his hometown, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. South Abbott Avenue and West Calaveras Boulevard. 6:58 p.m.

 

Saturday, March 3

Public intoxication. A 30-year-old Union City man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. San Andreas Drive and San Andreas Court. 4:10 a.m.

Meth. A 47-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines for sale, transporting methamphetamines, driving with a suspended license, and parole violation. Dixon Road and Sunnyhills Drive. 9:15 p.m.

Meth. A 26-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines for sale, and transporting methamphetamines. Dixon Road and Sunnyhills Drive. 9:12 p.m.

Petty theft. A 44-year-old Daly City man was arrested on suspicion of petty theft with priors. Dixon Landing and Milmont Roads. 10:28 p.m.

 

Sunday, March 4

Controlled substance. A 40-year-old San Jose woman was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Penitencia and Uvas streets. 9:10 a.m.

Resisting arrest. A 50-year-old man whose hometown was not disclosed by police was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and making annoying telephone calls. South Main Street and Corning Avenue. 12:09 p.m.

 

Monday, March 5

Burglary. An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and resisting arrest. Summerwind Way and Milmont Drive. 1:06 a.m.

Petty theft. An 18-year-old Milpitas woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of petty theft. Lexington Street and Redmond Avenue.  1:26 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Park Victoria and Edsel drives. 2:58 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 55-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Dixon Road and North Milpitas Boulevard. 9:25 a.m.

Court order violation. A 50-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order. Ranch Drive and McCarthy Boulevard. 1:48 p.m.

Domestic violence. A 35-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, and forcible robbery. Jason Drive and North Milpitas Boulevard. 7:28 p.m.

Child endangerment. A 48-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. Woodland Way and Fallen Leaf Drive. 10:30 p.m.

 

Tuesday, March 6

Meth. A 24-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. Evans Road and Poppy Lane. 12:09 a.m.

Stolen property. A 23-year-old San Jose woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property, possession of methamphetamines for sale, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. War Admiral Drive, San Jose. 4:45 p.m.

Stolen vehicle. A 40-year-old male transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle (three counts), possession of methamphetamines, possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest. War Admiral Drive, San Jose. 4:45 p.m.

Domestic violence. A 44-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. South Park Victoria Drive and Dempsey Road. 10:44 p.m.

 

Wednesday, March 7

Influencing a minor. An 18-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of burglary tools. North Park Victoria Drive and Creed Street. 8:55 a.m.

Unlawful weapon. An 18-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of burglary tools, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. North Park Victoria Drive and Creed Street. 8:58 a.m.

 

Thursday, March 8

Domestic violence. A 35-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 12:56 a.m.

Drug paraphernalia. A 24-year-old female transient was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia. Grand Teton Drive and Mount Rainier Avenue. 10:19 p.m.

 

Friday, March 9

Drunken driving. A 21-year old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. North Hillview Drive and Terra Bella Avenue. 12:30 a.m.

Attempted murder. A 30-year-old , use of a firearm during a drug deal, illegal cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and transportation of marijuana. private home, San Jose. 12:44 p.m.

Trespassing. A 57-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of trespassing. Yellowstone Avenue and South Park Victoria Drive. 7:55 p.m.
