Arrested in Milpitas: July 15-22

Arrests for prostitution, drunken driving, theft, and vandalism keep police in Milpitas busy.

Sunday, July 15

Controlled substance. A 28-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license. Dempsey Road and Dempsey Way. 10:20 p.m.

Monday, July 16

Court order. A 37-year-old female transient was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order. Montague Expressway and Houret Court. 1:08 a.m.

 

Tuesday, July 17

Sexual battery. A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery. Lawrence Expressway and Tasman Drive, Sunnyvale. 2:34 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 59-year-old Milpitas woman with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wilson Way and North Milpitas Boulevard. 7:50 a.m.

Loitering. An 18-year-old San Jose woman with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of loitering with intent of prostitution, and providing false identification. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 9:13 p.m.

 

Wednesday, July 18

Parole violation. A 33-year-old Mountain View man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of parole violation, burglary, and fraud. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 3:27 p.m.

Petty theft. A 22-year-old Oakland woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft with priors. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 5:22 p.m.

 

Thursday, July 19

Drunken driving. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Trade Zone Boulevard and Ringwood Avenue, San Jose. 12:40 a.m.

Parole violation. A 50-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order, parole violation, and driving under the influence. Bellew Drive and Barber Lane. 4:31 p.m.

Spousal abuse. A 39-year-old Santa Clara woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse, false imprisonment, and damage to a wireless telephone line. Tramway and Santa Rita drives. 9:38 p.m.

 

Friday, July 20

Grand theft. A 40-year-old male transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, and parole violation. South Main Street and Great Mall Drive. 10:10 a.m.

Prostitution. A 21-year-old Oakland woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of prostitution. Great Mall Drive near Home Depot. 2:10 p.m.

Vandalism. A 31-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of vandalism. Printy and Torres avenues. 7:15 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 25-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Barber Lane and Bellew Drive. 10:02 p.m.

 

Saturday, July 21

Controlled substance. A 50-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Moon Court and West Capitol Avenue. 6:18 a.m.

 

Sunday, July 22

Drunken driving. A 45-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Main Street and Great Mall Parkway. 3:19 a.m.

Obstruction. A 46-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer. Rose Drive and Fountainbleu Avenue. 8:14 a.m.
