Arrests for drunken driving, vehicular manslaughter, burglary, and theft keep police in Milpitas busy

Friday, July 27

Petty theft. A 43-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of petty theft with three priors. Great Mall Parkway and Curtis Drive. 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 28

Drunken driving. A 29-year-old Santa Clara woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Montague Expressway and Trade Zone Boulevard. 11:52 p.m.

 

Sunday, July 29

Burglary. A 32-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, and parole violation. Los Coches and Topaz streets. 10 p.m.

 

Monday, July 30

Loitering. A 25-year-old Milpitas woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of loitering with intent of prostitution. East Calaveras Boulevard and North Park Victoria Drive. 1:50 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 22-year-old Antelope, Calif. man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, transporting marijuana, and parole violation. South Main and Corning streets. 6:07 p.m.

 

Tuesday, July 31

Drunken driving. A 33-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Main Street and Curtis Avenue. 2:27 a.m.

Burglary. A 38-year-old female transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested on a parole hold, and on suspicion of burglary, ID theft, possession of fake checks/documents, and providing false identification to a peace officer. Landess Avenue and Dempsey Road. 4:42 p.m.

Parole hold. A 46-year-old San Jose man was arrested on a parole hold, and on suspicion of violating a court order. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 1

Drunken driving. A 21-year-old San Jose woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. North Abel Street and Marylinn Drive. 1:59 a.m.

Domestic battery. A 42-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, obstructing a communication device, and possessing a suspended license. Keniston and North Abbott avenues. 1:04 p.m.

 

Thursday, Aug. 2

Public intoxication. A 42-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. South Main and East Carlo streets. 1:15 a.m.

 

Friday, Aug. 3

Gross vehicular manslaughter. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of . Jacklin Road and Hamilton Avenue. 7:23 a.m.

Petty theft. A 43-year-old Union City man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of petty theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 5:50 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 29-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended license. East Calaveras Boulevard at Interstate 680. 8:41 p.m.

Controlled substance. A 24-year-old Cupertino man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Barber Lane and McCarthy Boulevard. 9:12 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 4

Outstanding warrant. A 42-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of violating terms of a supervised community release program. West Calaveras Boulevard and North Abel Street. 3:30 a.m.

 

Sunday, Aug. 5

Burglary. A 36-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools, and petty theft with priors. Great Mall Drive, near the Old Navy store. 4:25 p.m.

Prowling. A 25-year-old San Jose man was arrested on a parole hold, and on suspicion of prowling. Big Basin Drive and South Park Victoria Drive. 10:23 p.m.
