Arrested in Milpitas: March 21–April 1

Attempted auto theft, burglary, and drunken driving among recent arrests made by police in Milpitas.

Wednesday, March 21

Hit and run. A 49-year-old Santa Clara woman was arrested on suspicion of vehicular hit and run with injury to another person. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 6:30 p.m.

 

Thursday, March 22

Under the influence. A 52-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Polaris Court and Fallen Leaf Drive. 4:13 p.m.

Under the influence. A 44-year-old male transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing of a controlled substance, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Polaris Court and Fallen Leaf Drive. 4:13 p.m.

Under the influence. A 40-year-old male transient with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Polaris Court and Fallen Leaf Drive. 4:13 p.m.

Attempted auto theft. A , conspiracy with another to commit a crime, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Morrill Avenue and Capewood Lane, San Jose. 2:35 a.m.

Monday, March 26

Domestic battery. A 21-year-old Fairfield man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 12:09 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 47-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for being drunk in public, and resisting an officer. Jason Drive and North Milpitas Boulevard. 3:08 p.m.

 

Tuesday, March 27

Under the influence. A 29-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and probation violation. South Park Victoria and Big Basin drives. 12:05 a.m.

 

Thursday, March 29

Spousal abuse. A 31-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse. Dixon Landing Road and Milmont Drive. 12:20 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. North Milpitas Boulevard and Town Center Drive. 3:30 a.m.

Attempted robbery. A on suspicion of attempted robbery. Arizona Avenue and Mazey Street. 8 p.m.

 

Friday, March 30

Public intoxication. A 21-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. South Main Street and Serra Way. 2:28 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. South Main Street and Great Mall Parkway. 3 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 41-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Main Street and Corning Avenue. 8:30 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 31-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. North Abbott and Chestnut avenues. 11:45 a.m.

Stolen property. An 18-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property (11 counts), conspiracy with another to commit a crime, petty theft, prowling, and parole violation. Landess Avenue and Piedmont Road. 6:45 p.m.

Court order. A 50-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of disobeying a court order. Ranch Drive and North McCarthy Boulevard. 7:55 p.m.

 

Saturday, March 31

Drunken driving. A 21-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. East Calaveras Boulevard and North Milpitas Boulevard. 2:25 a.m.

Burglary. A 48-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy with another to commit a crime, possession of burglary tools, prowling, possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance. Los Coches and Topaz streets. 5:48 p.m.

Burglary. A 32-year-old male transient with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy with another to commit a crime, possession of burglary tools, prowling, and possession of a controlled substance, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Los Coches and Topaz streets. 5:49 p.m.

 

Sunday, April 1

Public intoxication. A 20-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Dempsey Road and Dempsey Way. 4:18 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 54-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Marylinn Drive and Berryessa Street. 9:45 p.m.

Domestic battery. A 46-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, and destroying a telephone line. Cameron Circle and Cameron Court. 10:40 p.m.
