Arrested in Milpitas: Nov. 18 - 24

Assault, concealed weapon, forgery, and drunken driving among recent arrests made by police in Milpitas.

Sunday, Nov. 18

Forgery. A 43-year-old Union City woman was arrested on suspicion of check forgery, and possession of a controlled substance. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 12:30 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 36-year-old Milpitas man with four outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public, driving under the influence, and petty theft. North Milpitas Boulevard and Jacklin Drive. 3:58 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

Controlled substance. A 30-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia, and driving without a license. Lynn and Ellis avenues. 2:25 p.m.

Deadly weapon. A 52-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. West Calaveras Boulevard and Serra Way. 6:45 p.m.

Battery. A 62-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of battery. Centre Pointe Drive and Montague Expressway. 1:40 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

Firearm. A 27-year-old Mountain View man was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, petty theft with priors, providing false identification to a peace officer, and driving with a suspended license. Landess Avenue and Treewood Lane, San Jose. 3:24 a.m.

Concealed weapon. A 29-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of stolen property. Landess Avenue and Treewood Lane, San Jose. 3:42 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 33-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, and possessing drug paraphernalia. South Abel Street and Great Mall Parkway. 4:53 a.m.

Domestic battery. A 30-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. The 1700 block of Shenandoah Ave. 9:08 a.m.

Thursday, Nov. 22

Grand theft. A 36-year-old Milpitas man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto, and being drunk in public. South Abbott Avenue and Valley Way. 1:15 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 26-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 10:07 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 23

Controlled substance. A 40-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing methamphetamines, possessing drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Park Hill Drive and Park Oak Court. 2:06 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 24

Public intoxication. A 22-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. 1100 block of Great Mall Drive. 9:37 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 26-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. 1100 block of Great Mall Drive. 9:37 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 21-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. 1100 block of Great Mall Drive. 9:40 a.m.

Court order. A 47-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order. Railroad Avenue and North Main Street. 12:15 p.m.
