Assault and battery, drunken driving, marijuana sales, and domestic violence arrests keep police in Milpitas busy.

Thursday, Nov. 8

Drunken driving. A 28-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended license. Morrell and Landess avenues. 5:05 a.m.

Friday, Nov. 9

Marijuana. A 34-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of illegally cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transporting more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, and theft of utility services. Cougar Circle and Antelope Drive, Fremont. 10:41 a.m.

Marijuana. A 31-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of illegally cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transporting more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, and theft of utility services. Cougar Circle and Antelope Drive, Fremont. Time of arrest not listed.

Controlled substance. A 33-year-old Milpitas man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. North Milpitas Boulevard and Dixon Landing Road. 12:40 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10

Drunken driving. A 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Great Mall and Falcon drives. 1:28 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 35-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. South Park Victoria and Edsel drives. 7:53 a.m.

Sunday, Nov. 11

Drunken driving. A 23-year-old East Palo Alto man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Landess Avenue and Dempsey Road. 1:54 a.m.

Stolen vehicle. A 19-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle, possessing burglary tools, and providing false identification to a peace officer. Ayer Street and North Park Victoria Drive. 2:55 a.m.

Domestic battery. A 36-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Fire Walk and Metro Walk drives. 1:30 p.m.

Burglary tools. A 24-year-old Milpitas man with four outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, driving with a suspended license, and possessing a forged credit card. The 400 block of Coelho St. 6:14 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 12

Domestic violence. A 51-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of committing domestic violence. South Abbott Avenue and West Calaveras Boulevard. 2:10 a.m.

Domestic violence. A 31-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of committing domestic violence. North Milpitas Boulevard and Wilson Way. Time of arrested not listed.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

Marijuana. A 21-year-old Milpitas man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, drunken driving, and being drunk in public. Coyote Street and Redwood Avenue. 1:30 p.m.

Domestic battery. A 58-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of committing domestic, and false imprisonment. Aguilar Court and Piedmont Road. 9:31 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

Elder abuse. A 48-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of elder abuse, and domestic battery with a visible injury. The 300 block of La Honda Drive. 12:10 p.m.

Controlled substance. A 48-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Main Street and Corning Avenue. 2:17 a.m.

Friday, Nov. 16

Public intoxication. A 54-year-old Citrus Heights man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. West Calaveras Boulevard and Abbott Street. 6:36 p.m.   

Drunken driving. A 26-year-old Redwood City man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Serra Way and Main Street. 4:52 a.m.

Drunken driving. A 21-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Moon Court and West Capitol Avenue. 1:24 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 17

Assault and battery. A 19-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery, and delaying a peace officer. Autrey and Mazey streets. 3:24 a.m.

Drunken driving. An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Yosemite and Carnegie drives. 10:40 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 18

Controlled substance. A 52-year-old San Francisco man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jacklin Road and Interstate 680. 2:10 a.m.

Controlled substance. A 23-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, and being unable to produce evidence of auto insurance. North Abel Street and West Calaveras Boulevard. 4:10 a.m.

Assault and battery. A 45-year-old Stockton man was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery. Great Mall and Mustang drives. 6:41 p.m.
