Arrested in Milpitas: Oct. 13 – 18

Arrests for grand theft, metal knuckles, prostitution, and sex offender registration keep police in Milpitas busy.

Saturday, Oct. 13

Metal knuckles. A 22-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of possessing metal knuckles. Cypress and Bellew drives. 12:47 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 14

Drunken driving. A 20-year-old Union City woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended license. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 1:54 a.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Public intoxication. A 21-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Selwyn Drive and Dempsey Road. 12:23 a.m.

Meth. A 54-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Smithwood Street and North Abbott Avenue. 10:38 a.m.

Loitering. A 25-year-old Oakland woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of loitering. Dempsey Road and Selwyn Drive. 10:45 a.m.

Domestic violence. A 42-year-old Fremont man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. South Main Street and Curtis Avenue. 4:04 p.m.

Burglary. A 52-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, identification theft, and possession of a forged drivers’ license. North Milpitas and East Calaveras boulevards. 4:48 p.m.

Domestic violence. A 52-year-old female transient was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Piper Drive. 5:06 p.m.

Grand theft. A 29-year-old Fremont man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. Great Mall Drive and South Main Street. 9:14 p.m.

Grand theft. A 30-year-old San Leandro woman was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. Great Mall Drive near the Home Depot store. 9:14 p.m.

Prostitution. A 19-year-old female transient with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of prostitution. South Main and Carlo streets. Time of arrest not listed.

Thursday, Oct. 18

Drunken driving. A 41-year-old San Jose woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (with three priors), and driving with a suspended license. The 1500 Block of California Circle. 7:29 a.m.

Under the influence. A 54-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Fallen Leaf Drive and Cedar Way. 12:39 p.m.

Sex offender. A 56-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of not maintaining registration as a sex offender. North Milpitas Boulevard and Washington Drive. 3:23 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 24-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. South Park Victoria Drive and Landess Avenue. 7:55 p.m.

Restraining order. A 47-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order. Jason Drive and North Milpitas Boulevard. 9:13 p.m.
