Arrested in Milpitas: Sept. 27 – Oct. 7

Arrests for child pornography, drunken driving, and assault with a deadly weapon keep police in Milpitas busy.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Under the influence. A 32-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Almaden Avenue and Berryessa Street. 8:04 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 28

Unsafe speed. A 30-year-old San Jose man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of driving at an unsafe speed, and driving with a suspended license. Roewill and Will Rogers drives, San Jose. Time of arrest not listed.

Saturday, Sept. 29

Court order. A 19-year-old San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of violating a court restraining order. Girard and Bixby drives. 11:33 a.m.

Under the influence. A 45-year-old Hollister man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. South Milpitas Boulevard and Montague Expressway. 9:25 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 30

Battery. An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of battery. Smithwood Street and Rudyard Drive, 3:18 a.m.

Petty theft. A 23-year-old San Jose man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of petty theft, and driving with a suspended license. Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 3:39 p.m.

Spousal abuse. A 37-year-old Fremont woman was arrested on suspicion of spousal abuse and assault with a deadly weapon. North Milpitas Boulevard and Minnis Circle. 5:50 p.m.

Drunken driving. A 52-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. North Abel Street and East Calaveras Boulevard. 11:32 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 1

Public intoxication. A 26-year-old San Jose woman with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Great Mall Drive near the Home Depot. 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

Lewd act. A 29-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of committing a lewd act with a minor. Ethyl Street and Junipero Drive. 5:45 a.m.

Parole violation. A 34-year-old Milpitas man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of violating parole. North Abbott and Redwood avenues. 11:10 a.m.

Child endangerment. A 30-year-old Milpitas man with an outstanding warrant was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, violation of a court order, and parole violation. Fallen Leaf Drive and Greenwood Way. 6 p.m.

Child pornography. A 24-year-old Milpitas man with two outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, use of a minor to perform prohibited acts, driving at an excessive speed, and driving with a suspended license. Calaveras Ridge and Country Club drives. 8:05 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

Under the influence. A 33-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pinewood Park at Pinewood Way. 4:11 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 4

Child molestation. A 19-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of child molestation (two counts), and burglary (two counts). Dixon Landing Road and Milmont Drive. 9:30 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 56-year-old San Jose woman was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. Ranch Drive and McCarthy Boulevard. 11:42 a.m.

Grand theft. A 31-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, and domestic battery. North Abbott Avenue and San Andreas Drive. 4:57 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 5

Attempted burglary. A 22-year-old male transient was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, grand theft, possession of burglary tools, and trespassing. Railroad Avenue and Railroad Court. 9:13 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 6

Drunken driving. A 32-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. North Milpitas Boulevard and Washington Drive. 2:50 a.m.

Under the influence. A 54-year-old San Jose man with three outstanding warrants was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Clear Lake and Landess avenues. 10:50 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 7

Telephone line. A 29-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of destroying a telephone line, and preventing a crime from being reported to police. South Main Street and Corning Avenue. 8:58 p.m.
