Driving under the influence. A 19-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for a first-time DUI, reckless driving and an additional charge of having a blood alcohol level of 5 percent or more and being under 21 years of age. Jacklin Road at I-680. 2:03 p.m.
Violation of restraining order. A 26-year-old Stockton man was arrested near Barber Lane and Montague Expressway. 11:52 p.m.

Possession of a controlled substance. A 24-year-old San Jose man was arrested having a controlled substance and concealed dagger at South Park Victoria Blvd and Landess Avenue. 8:42 p.m.
. A 40-year-old man was arrested for residential burglary, dog stealing, resisting arrest and multiple counts of auto burglary near Thompson Street and Great Mall Parkway. About 10:30 a.m.
Petty theft. A 20-year-old San Jose man was arrested for petty theft with priors, concealing a weapon (dagger), drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence.
Driving under the influence. A 22-year-old San Jose man was arrested for a first-time DUI near East Calaveras Boulevard and Town Center Drive. 4:36 a.m.

Outstanding warrant. A 25-year-old homeless man was arrested for previous charges of parole violation, being under the influence of a controlled substance and one other charge we could not identify. North Gasdsen Drive and Adams Avenue. 3:17 p.m.
