Assault/battery. A 26-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at Woodland Way and Fallen Leaf Drive for assault/battery. 7:56 a.m.
Commercial burglary. A 32-year-old Newark man was arrested at Great Mall Drive and Great Mall Parkway. 2:32 p.m.

Public intoxication. A 31-year-old San Jose man was arrested for being drunk in public. Freeland and Carnegie drives. 3:46 a.m.
Driving under the influence. A 39-year-old San Jose woman on probation was arrested for DUI at 11:33 p.m. She had one prior DUI. Falcon and Great Mall drives.
