Thursday, May 5

Outstanding warrants. A 38-year-old San Jose man was arrested for previous charges of domestic violence, driving with a suspended or revoked license and not wearing a seat belt. Ranch and McCarthy drives. 10:30 a.m. 

Passing counterfeit checks. A 29-year-old Oakland woman was arrested for burglary and passing and possessing fake checks at the Great Mall. 1:57 p.m.

Friday, May 6

Driving under the influence. A 36-year-old Sunnyvale woman was arrested for a DUI. She had one prior DUI in 2001. South Main Street and Corning Avenue. 10:23 p.m.

Saturday, May 7

Petty theft. A 49-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for petty theft with priors and probation violation. Ranch and McCarthy drives. 9:32 p.m.

Driving under the influence. A 25-year-old San Jose man was arrested for a DUI (no priors) and driving without a license. North of Montague Expressway. 9:17 p.m.

Driving under the influence. A 28-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at Redwood Avenue and Abel Street. 4:09 a.m. the night after his birthday.

Assault with a deadly weapon. A 46-year-old San Jose man was arrested for brandishing a knife, assault with a knife, criminal threats and burglary. The incident took place at a restaurant in the Season's MarketPlace, but he fled. Police later arrested him at his workplace in Menlo Park at 6:50 a.m.

Sunday, May 8

Public intoxication. A 36-year-old San Jose woman was arrested for being drunk in public. Spring Valley and North Temple Drive. 3:47 a.m.

Driving under the influence. A 33-year-old Baypoint woman was arrested for a DUI (with no priors). North Main and Weller streets. 2:38 a.m.

Resisting arrest and trespassing. A 40-year-old homeless person was arrested at Dempsey Road and David Lane. 9:33 p.m.

Monday, May 9

Possession of a stolen vehicle. A 36-year-old San Jose woman and 34-year-old Milpitas man were arrested at Calaveras and Piedmont roads. 1:04 and 1:05 a.m. Both were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and probation violation. She was also charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and burglary tools. 

Wednesday, May 11

Public intoxication. A 41-year-old San Jose man was arrested at South Main Street and Curtis for being drunk in public. 2:57 a.m.

Public intoxication. A 28-year-old Walnut Creek man was arrested at South Main Street and Corning Avenue for being drunk in public. 2:59 a.m. He also had a warrant out for the same charge.

Public intoxication. A 23-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested at South Main Street and Corning Avenue for bring drunk in public. 3:03 a.m.

Thursday, May 12

Public intoxication. A 27-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on Dempsey Road in or near the Fiesta Shopping Center for being drunk in public. 2:59 a.m. He also had a warrant out for the same charge.

Friday, May 13

Outstanding warrant. A 19-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested for a previous charge of obstructing or delaying an officer. East Capitol and Montague Expressway. 7:42 a.m.

Outstanding warrant. An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at Rio Verde Place and Junipero Drive for previous charges from possession of a controlled substance and vandalism. 8:06 a.m.

Outstanding warrant. A 35-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for a previous charge of embezzlement at South Park Victoria and Yosemite. 12:37 a.m.

Drug related charges. A 51-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at his home near Clear Lake Avenue and South Park Victoria Drive for sale of controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of meth pipes, and being armed during a felony.

Domestic violence. A 35-year-old busboy who works in a restaurant at Milpitas Square was arrested in the shopping center. 10:45 a.m.

Saturday, May 14

Drug related charges. A 47-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an outstanding warrant for similar charges. San Miguel Court and Junipero Drive. 12:26 a.m.

Sunday, May 15.

Outstanding warrant. A 61-year-old homeless man was arrested for previous charges ranging from being drunk in public, trespassing and in contempt of court. near Jacklin Road and North Park  Victoria Drive. 5:24 p.m.

Driving under the influence. A 34-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at East Capitol and Montague Expressway for a DUI (no priors). 2:15 a.m.
