Arrested: Nov 20 - 22

Alcohol-related arrests, DUIs and public drunkenness made up the majority of recent arrests by the Milpitas Police Department.

Monday, Nov. 22

  • Driving under the influence. A 49-year-old man was arrested at 8:38 p.m. at Fanyon Street and Dennis Avenue.
  • Outstanding warrant. A 25-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 3:01 p.m. for a previous charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Dempsey Road and Edsel Drive. 
  • Public intoxication. A 46-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 8:48 a.m. for being drunk in public. Selwyn Drive and Dempsey Road.
  • Public intoxication. An 18-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 12:04 a.m. for being drunk in public. Jacklin Road and North Park Victoria Drive.

Sunday, Nov. 21

  • Driving under the influence. A 49-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for a DUI as well as driving with a suspended or revoked license. Fanyon Street and Dennis Avenue. 8:38 p.m.
  • Public intoxication. A 23-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for being drunk in public. Dempsey Road and Selwyn Drive. 12:56 a.m.

  • Intent to commit burglary. A 43-year-old resident from Los Angeles was arrested for entering a building with the intent to steal. The felon was also charged with having false documents and using the identity of another.  
  • Domestic battery. A 43-year-old parolee from San Jose was arrested for domestic battery near Thorncrest and Thornbriar drives. 7:24 p.m.
  • Public intoxication. A homeless man was arrested at 4:45 p.m. for being drunk in public. South Abel Street and Great Mall Parkway.
  • Outstanding warrant. A 22-year-old Milpitas woman was arrested at 9:40 a.m. for a previous charge of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Outstanding warrant. A 22-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at 1:57 a.m. for previous charges, a DUI and driving with a suspended license. East Calaveras Boulevard and South Hillview Drive.
