Monday, September 12

Under the influence. A 31-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for being under the influence and for possession of a smoking pipe. North Abbott and Redwood avenues. 1:49 p.m.

Robbery. A 19-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for robbery and conspiracy. Rio Verde at Junipero. 6:35 a.m.

Sunday, September 11

Outstanding warrants. A 47-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for previously unresolved charges, including possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Monmouth Dr at Ashland. 3:40 a.m.

Driving under the influence. A 32-year-old Union City man was arrested for a DUI near Cottonwood Drive and Barber Lane. He already had been convicted of one prior DUI from last year. 3:49 a.m.

Commercial burglary. A 25-year-old Oakland man was arrested in or near the Great Mall. He had prior warrants for theft and embezzlement.

Outstanding warrant. A 27-year-old San Jose man was arrested for a previously unresolved charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license. South Park Victoria Drive and East Calaveras Boulevard. 8:54 p.m.

Saturday, September 10

Possession of a loaded gun. An 28-year-old Antioch man was arrested for possession of a gun that had been reported stolen, delaying a police officer among other charges. The incident occurred in an apartment complex off Dixon Landing Road, but he was arrested at the hospital because he shot himself in the leg. 4:14 p.m.

Public intoxication. An 57-year-old Alviso man was arrested for being drunk in public and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. South Main Street and Serra. 6:34 p.m.

Thursday, September 8

Domestic violence. A 36-year-old Milpitas man was arrested at a residence near Mihalakis and Main Street. 9:53 p.m.

Cultivation of marijuana. A 45-year-old San Jose man was arrested for growing marijuana plants, among other charges. Calaveras Road and Vista Ridge Drive. 8:43 a.m.
