Child Dies from Unknown Causes
Emergency personnel were called to a home on Larkwood Court Thursday morning on a report of a child that was not breathing. Attempts to revive the child were unsuccessful, and the child was pronounced dead moments later.
At 6:05 Thursday morning, Milpitas Police and fire personnel were dispatched to a home on Larkwood Court on a report of a child not breathing.
Police arrived in less than three minutes and attempted CPR on the child. However, the attempts were unsuccessful, and the child was pronounced dead moments later.
The Milpitas Police Department is working together with the Santa Clara County Coroner's office to determine the cause of death.

At this time, police are not releasing the identity, age or gender of the child.
