Felons Arrested in Milpitas for Handgun Possession
Both residents of San Jose, the pair were also on drugs when they were busted.
A traffic stop on Main Street led to the arrest of two San Jose residents on weapons and drug charges.
Bonnie Levy, 32, and Ernie M. Alarcon, 27, were stopped last week, on May 2, in the 400 block of South Main Street.
Both appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
The terms of Levy’s probation from a previous felony allowed officers to search their vehicle.
“During a search of the vehicle, the officer located room keys for a nearby local hotel,” according to Lt. Daryl Sequeira, Milpitas Police. “During a probation search of the hotel room, an unloaded .25 caliber handgun was found hidden under the bed.”
They were arrested for being felons in possession of a gun and for being under the influence of drugs. They were booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
