Fire at Medical Marijuana Clinic Deemed Suspicious

The blaze occurred at 4:20 a.m. at the Palliative Health Center in San Jose.

A one-alarm fire at a San Jose medical marijuana clinic this morning is being investigated as suspicious, a fire captain said.

The blaze was reported at 4:20 a.m. at Palliative Health Center, located at 1670 Zanker Road, San Jose fire Capt. Reggie Williams said.

The fire was brought under control at 5:41 a.m. and no injuries were reported, Williams said.

There was an odor of gasoline at the building, which was vacant at the time of the blaze, Williams said. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, Williams said. Arson investigators were at the building this morning.
