Fire Sparks 2 Alarms at San Jose Taqueria
The non-injury blaze was reported at 7:42 a.m. in an attic space at Taqueria Lorena's, officials said.
Fire investigators Friday afternoon were probing the cause of a blaze that prompted two alarms at a San Jose taqueria, officials said.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 7:42 a.m. in an attic space at Taqueria Lorena's, 399 S. 24th St., according to San Jose fire Capt. Rob Brown.
Crews arrived to find flames in the attic and managed to contain the blaze to that area; water damage was caused to other parts of the store, the captain said.

Brown said firefighters had some difficulty attacking the blaze initially because an electrical panel was placed in a dangerous location.
The fire was reduced to a single alarm shortly before 8:30 a.m., Brown said.
