Fund Established to Aid 3 Children Orphaned by Double Homicide

The San Jose Police Department is also holding an internal fundraiser in order to further aid the children


The San Jose Police Officer's Association Charitable Foundation has started a fund to help the by a double homicide in San Jose on Monday.

The three children, who were present inside the home at the time of the murders, lost both of their parents.

The fund provides the public a way to give financial support to the children in their time of need. Monetary donations will help pay for food, clothing, housing, school supplies and other immediate needs as they arise.

Additionally, the San Jose Police Department is holding an internal fundraiser in order to further aid the children. All money or supplies donated by San Jose police will be given to the family to help care for the children.

Members of the public wishing to contribute with a donation are able to do so at: www.sjpoa.com. Checks may be sent to: SJPOA, 1151 North Fourth St., San Jose, CA 95112. Check can be made payable to: SJPOA - CF and indicate "Jimenez" on the memo line.
