An Amber Alert issued last week for a 14-year-old girl believed to have been kidnapped by a man in Washington was canceled after she was found safe Tuesday, police said.

Elizabeth Romero was found in Mexico after the alert went out last Wednesday along the entire West Coast following her apparent kidnapping in Kennewick, Wash., authorities said.

The kidnapping suspect, Eduardo Flores-Rosalas, 19, was believed to have taken her and then headed to Mexico through California and the Bay Area.

Flores-Rosalas has not yet been caught by police. He was last seen driving a dark green Ford Escape with temporary Washington registration. The car is believed to have a roof rack and custom wheels.

Flores-Rosales is described as a Hispanic man standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
