Police Search For Shooter After Man, Woman Found Dead in SJ Home

Police have not located the shooter, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are currently searching for a suspect who killed a man and woman early Monday morning. The victims were found shot dead in their San Jose in an apparent double homicide, a police sergeant said.

Police do not have a suspect description and are combing the area for the shooter, who should be considered armed and dangerous, Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.

At about 4:20 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the 300 block of North Seventh Street near downtown, Dwyer said.

Arriving officers searched the home and found the two victims, he said. The case is being investigated as a double murder.

Investigators have cordoned off streets in the neighborhood, but expect to reopen them later this morning, Dwyer said.

How sad, I hope the catch the offender. I have posted and shared this on my FB for whatever good it may do. Maybe people will be just a little more on alert because of this, we all should be.

Thanks for being so diligent in spreading the word about this incident and the shooter, Pete. I think awareness plays a huge part in staying safe.
