Man Attempts Robbery at Dixon Road Bus Stop
Suspect was arrested after victim called 911.
Police arrested a man for attempted robbery at the bus stop on Dixon Road on Thursday.
Bikim Rashad Mobley, 35, of Milpitas, was arrested at 7:28 p.m. Thursday after Milpitas Police responded to a 911 call of attempted robbery.
According to the victim, a 44-year-old San Jose man, he was sitting at the Dixon Road bus stop when Mobley asked him for money. Mobley originally asked for $2 to buy a drink, which the victim gave to him. Mobley then asked the victim for more money and was refused, according to police reports.

Mobley then put his hand to his waistband and said he would "put a bullet" in the victim, according to police reports. The victim feared for his safety, ran into a nearby store and called 911.
Officers found Mobley near Dixon Road and Arizona Avenue. He was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

Police are reminding residents of the following tips to keep themselves safe:
- Be sensible and alert.
- If possible, don't walk alone during late-night hours and walk in groups whenever you can.
- Don't resist a robbery if you are a victim. Give up your property, not your life.
- Immediately report the crime to police and try to accurately describe the attacker.
