Man Found Dead is Milpitas' Second Homicide

A young man found dead in Milpitas on Saturday marked the city's second homicide this year.

An 18-year-old male was found dead at the 400 block of Chestnut Avenue at around 1 a.m. on Saturday, the Milpitas Police Department said.

The victim, a Milpitas resident, suffered a gunshot wound. There is currently no suspect, and the department is investigating the shooting as a homicide.

This is the second homicide to take place in Milpitas this year.
