Milpitas Police Arrest Parolee at Large

Officers find man after loud music complaint.

Milpitas Police arrested a man at Sinnott Park after responding to a call of loud music on Saturday.

Officers stopped by the park on the 1600 block of Clear Lake Avenue at 12:02 a.m. to check on the complaint, according to police reports. They found Lewis Eugene Valdez, 36, of San Jose at a picnic table with a friend.

Valdez, a parolee, said he had not met with his parole officer for several months and may be considered a "parolee-at-large." Further investigation showed Valdez was inviolation of his parole terms, according to police reports. He was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
