Milpitas city worker Jorge Macias Diaz, 52, was killed Friday after the car he was driving was hit broadside while stopped at a traffic light.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Diaz was driving a 2000 Dodge Neon. He was waiting at the light when the driver of a BMW lost control and hit the Neon. The Neon was pushed into a 1992 Mazda Miata.
Diaz' wife and the driver of the Miata were taken to Regional Medical Center. Both survived, according to the Mercury News.
