Milpitas firefighters train volunteers at St. John's Church as the Autumn Festival starts in two weeks.
Church and school volunteers for the upcoming Autumn Festival at St. John the Baptist Parish got some hands-on training from the Milpitas Fire Department Saturday.
Volunteers learned how to properly use a fire extinguisher. The training not only provided practical advice for the festival and home, but was also a way for the community to interact and get to know the city services.
The runs the weekend of September, 9, 10 and 11. Expect to see carnival rides, raffles, Bingo and lots of family entertainment!
