Police Arrest Suspect Breaking into Local Business

Milpitas Police arrested a 31-year-old Sacramento man who broke into a local dentist's office on Saturday.

Milpitas Police have a suspect in custody who broke into a local dentist's office in the early morning hours on Saturday.

At 4:02 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, Milpitas Police responded to a burglar alarm going off at the offices of Milpitas Smile Design, 414 S. Main St. The business is run by Dr. Puneet Sandhu and specializes in cosmetic dentistry.

When officers arrived, they found a broken glass door. They entered the business, and found 31-year-old Anthony Daniels of Sacramento inside.

Officers arrested Daniels "without incident," and he was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of burglary and vandalism.

Milpitas Police declined to comment on whether Daniels was attempting to steal anything specific from the dentistry business.
