Police Search for Suspects in U.S. Bank Robberies

Milpitas Police ask for the public's help in finding suspects who robbed the same U.S. Bank on Landess Avenue in March.

Milpitas Police are asking for the public's help in locating suspects who robbed the same U.S. Bank branch on Landess Avenue last month. 

During the first robbery, at 4:24 p.m. March 5, a male suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a demand note. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect fled the area on foot and was described as a Hispanic Male, 6’0” to 6’2", approximately 25 years old, and weighing 200 to 300 pounds, Patch previously reported.

He was last seen wearing a blue California Berkeley hooded jacket with “California” and an image of a bear printed in gold on the front, a black Pittsburgh Pirates baseball hat with a yellow “P” on the front, sunglasses and black pants. 

In the second robbery, at 12:16 p.m. March 20, a man also entered the bank with a demand note, the Milpitas Post reports. The suspect entered with a simulated weapon, Patch previously reported.

According to the Milpitas Post, the suspect was described as a white male, between 20-30 years old, 5'10" to 6' tall, about 220 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a red baseball cap and sunglasses.
