Police Stop Two for Prowling on Los Coches Street

Drugs also were found in the car.

Milpitas Police arrested one suspect and detained another on the 300 block of Los Coches St. on Sunday for prowling, resisting arrest and possessing narcotics.

Jeffrey Alan Calkins, 46, a transient, and a 55-year old Vacaville resident were stopped after officers responded to a burglary alarm and reports that a person was on the roof of a commercial building, according to police reports.

Officers arrived to find Calkins in front of the business. They tried to stop him and he fled on foot. While looking for Calkins they found the second suspect hiding in nearby bushes, according to reports.
