Though no Milpitas residents appear on the Sheriff's docket this week, there was still plenty of activity going on, particularly in San Jose.
Use/Under the Influence
- Amado Luna, 23, 12:40 a.m., of San Jose, at W. San Carlos Street and Richmond Avenue in San Jose, for using or being under the influence of a controlled substance and a felony parole hold.
- Charles Swimm, 42, 1:20 a.m., of San Jose, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for using or being under the influence of a controlled substance and a felony warrant for possession of narcotics.
- Morris Holden, 27, 1 p.m., of San Jose, at 25 E. Hedding and First streets in San Jose, for two warrant misdemeanors related to using/being under the influence of a controlled substance or possession of a controlled substance.
- Emily Wong, 40, 3:30 p.m., of San Jose, at 115 Terraine St. in San Jose, for two warrant misdemeanors related to using/being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Tampering With Utility Services, Drugs

Trung Tran, 41, 2:30 a.m., of San Jose, at Francis Drive and McKee Road in San Jose, for three felonies related to tampering with utility services, possession of marijuana/hash for sale and cultivation of marijuana.

Steven McMorran, 51, 3:45 a.m., of San Jose, at Fallbrook Avenue in Campbell, for felony possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor warrant for appropriation of lost property. Bail set at $15,000.
Robbery
Briana Allen, 22, 10 a.m., of San Jose, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for felony robbery, second degree.
Criminal Gang Activity
Spencer Wreath, 24, 9:50 a.m., of San Jose, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for five felony warrants related to committing crime for the benefit of a criminal street gang, vandalism less than $400, vandalism of more than $50,000 and participation in a criminal street gang. Bail set at $100,000.
Rape/Lewd and Lascivious Acts With Child
Jose Rivera, 44, 8:40 a.m., of San Jose at Soledad State Prison in Soledad, Calif., for 25 felony charges related to rape by force, violence, and duress and lewd and lascivious acts with child.
Burglary
Michael Huynh, 18, 10:40 a.m., of San Jose, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for felony first-degree burglary. Bail set at $50,000.
Arrest by Bail/Assault/Child Endangerment
John Armendariz, 27, 11 a.m., of San Clara, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for two misdemeanor arrest by bail or depositor for purpose of surrendering and two felony warrants for willfully causing or permitting a child to suffer and assault with deadly weapon. Bail set at $100,000.
Suspended License
- Brian Duffy, 31, 11:30 a.m., of San Jose, at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for a warrant misdemeanor for driving with a suspended license.
- Adrian Real, 22, 12:07 p.m., of San Jose, at 150 W. Hedding and San Pedro streets in San Jose, for a warrant misdemeanor for driving with a suspended license.
Convicted Felon With Firearm/Possession
Paul Haney, 50, 11:30 a.m., of San Jose, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for a felony related to being a felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor for DUI, felony possession of ammunition and felony charge for being under the influence of a controlled substance while in the immediate personal possession of a loaded, operable firearm.
Contempt of Court
Jose Rojas, 57, 10:55 a.m., of Modesto, at 99 Notre Dame Avenue and W. St. John Street in San Jose, for a misdemeanor related to contempt of court.
Unlawful Weapon/Domestic Violence
Shawn O'Connell, 35, 10:40 a.m., of San Jose, 10:40 a.m. at the Los Banos County Jail in Los Banos, for two warrant misdemeanors related to the unlawful purchase/possession/use of unlawful weapon and inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant.
DUI
Jason Lee, 32, 2 p.m., of San Jose, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for DUI.
Disorderly Conduct/Prostitution
Kaitlyn Collins, 21, 1:14 a.m., of San Jose, at 260 Bernal Rd. in San Jose, for disorderly conduct and prostitution.
