Hiding in the women’s restroom didn’t fool police officers when they responded to a silent burglar alarm at an unoccupied commercial building earlier this month. Milpitas Police nabbed their suspect.
It happened on April 15, but was just disclosed by police.

At around 5:15 p.m. police responded to the alarm in the 100 block of South Main Street. They found an unlocked back door and went inside. Officers found burglary tools and freshly cut copper piping. They searched the building and found the suspect hiding in the women’s restroom.
Police arrested Leonel Garcia, 25, of San Jose. He was booked into the San Jose Main Jail.
