Teen Gunned Down in San Jose, Gang Possibly Involved

Officers on Friday found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A teenage boy was gunned down in what police said was possibly a gang-related murder in San Jose.

The shooting was reported at 11:33 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Pacific Avenue, where police found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects left the scene and have not been identified but police believe the shooting may have been gang-related.

The shooting was San Jose's 43rd homicide of the year, and the 16th gang-related homicide, according to police.
