U.S. Bank on Landess Avenue in Milpitas was robbed Wednesday afternoon, March 20 — the third bank robbery in Milpitas this month.
Milpitas Police received report of the bank robbery at 12:16 p.m. According to CrimeReports.com, the suspect entered with a simulated weapon.
This is the second time this month this U.S. Bank branch has been robbed; the first on March 5.
Chase Bank on N. Milpitas Boulevard was also robbed earlier this month, on March 9.
Milpitas Police could not release any other information, including whether or not these bank robberies are related, because of the ongoing investigation.
