What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I believe in a commitment to public service, and I consider it an honor that the residents have elected me twice to serve as their council member.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
My single biggest and most important priority is balancing the budget. The budget has the potential to affect all of the services the city provides, from recreation services to road repair to public safety services.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?
My 10 years experience balancing budgets and eight years experience as a city councilman.

Where do you work and what is your job title?
I currently serve as a City Council member, and my day job is the mayor's budget director for the city of San Jose.
