Care About Fireworks? Come To Council Tonight

City leaders will vote again on cutting July 4 fireworks, library hours.

Milpitas leaders will vote again on this evening on whether to cancel the July 4 fireworks and cut back on library hours after doubts were raised two weeks ago over whether residents were properly notified of the pending decisions.

While the city continues to investigate the matter, council will vote again this evening to ensure anyone who wants to comment on the decision, suggest alternatives or say anything else about the matter has a chance to.

If you wish to speak, stop by Milpitas City Hall at 7 p.m. tonight.
