City Council To Talk Budget Cuts Thursday

Interested in hearing what the city might cut next year? Stop by Thursday's special meeting and learn.

Milpitas leaders will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss the city's budget for 2012-13.

The City Council meeting is a workshop, meaning no cuts will be made or other action taken. But members will talk about what services they could back or even eliminate this spring as they deal with millions of dollars in lost revenue. That loss comes after the state eliminated the Milpitas Redevelopment Agency last year.
