Congratulations Bob !!! As an advocate for the legalization of marijuana we'll be looking for you to join with Tom Ammiano & the Democratic majorities in both the Assembly & Senate to enact comprehensive legislation regarding the use & distribution of marijuana this session ! Now that Colorado & Washington have legalized it's inevitable that California will soon join them in defiance of federal law !

Why don't you move to Colorado where they've legalized your weed for the recreational use you enjoy so much. Apparently CA isn't yet there as voters rejected legalization last time around, and this time around threw your nut job pal Stark out of office.

The California Appellate courts have ruled that "storefront dispensaries" are legal here (California Health & Safety Code 11362.768e) & that local bans are illegal & unenforceable (County of Los Angeles v Alternative Medicinal Cannabis Collective) ! Cities are "pre-empted" from banning dispensaries because to do so contradicts the Legislatures intent & that contadiction is "direct, patent, obvious & palpable" ! Now that Obama has been re-elected he can change the federal classification of marijuana by executive order without worrying about keeping his job or Congressional approval,as most of us assumed he would do all along ! Colorado & Washington & Detroit voters have just expedited the process & look for the feds to eventually let the states decide what's best for their citizens ! Why don't you move to a red (white) state where you'd be more comfortable & your vote might actually count ? As a cannabis patient I have plenty of legal marijuana here now & legal access to plenty more,I'm not going anywhere !!!
