A vacancy exists on the Milpitas Unified School District Board of Education due to the resignation of Michael Mendizabal on January 31, 2011. The board hopes to fill that vacancy with a provisional appointment. The application period opens Monday, Feb. 7. The deadline to file the application is 5:00 p.m., Feb. 25
- Candidates must be registered voters residing within the boundaries of the Milpitas Unified School District and not employed by the District.
- Interested parties may pick up an application packet at the Milpitas Unified School District, Superintendent’s Office, Building 100. An application packet may also be downloaded from the District’s website at www.musd.org
- The application packet consisting of 1) Application for Appointment and 2) Candidate Information Sheet must be completed in full and submitted to Superintendent Karl Black at the above address by 5:00 p.m., February 25, 2011.
