The Milpitas Rotary Club each year honors an exemplary city employee for "service above self." The 16th recipient of the Gene Schwab Award will go to city budget manager Flora Tzeng. Outside of the finance department, she is actively involved with boy scouts, girl scouts, Chinese American Scouting Association, Wood Badge Adult Leader Training, and other public service projects.
All are invited to the luncheon at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The cost is $18 (includes lunch). RSVP by Jan. 24 to Chairman Frank De Smidt at 408-263-3474.
