Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Commission Meeting

The City of Milpitas Parks, Recreation and Cultural Commission meets on the first Monday of every month at 7pm in the City Hall Committee Conference Room. Founded July 1, 1992, the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Commission (PRCRC) advises the City Council regarding the operation and maintenance of recreation, leisure services, and historic preservation activities. The Commission also advises the City Council on the acquisition, planning, and development of new and existing parks and facilities. The PRCRC earned the prestigious award as the state's "Outstanding Commission" for 2008-2009 by the California Association of Parks & Recreation Commissioners & Board Members (CAPRCBM).  The Commission consists of seven members and two alternates. Members are appointed to three-year terms and alternates are appointed to two-year terms. For more information visit the City of Milpitas website.
