The Milpitas Police Department, in conjunction with the Special Olympics of Northern California is hosting a Tip-a-Cop event at Outback Steakhouse restaurant, 1246 Great Mall Drive in Milpitas. The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. and all proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics. The Milpitas Police Department will also be offering free Child ID Fingerprinting at the event.
Tip-a-Cop is a fundraising event where police officers will be serving the customers at a restaurant. Donations help provide local athletes with free year-round training and competitions in 12 sporting events.
