Watch the White House Summit for Asian American Small Business Owners

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders will hold a summit on entrepreneurship and economic growth with business leaders in Silicon Valley on Friday to promote the Administration’s efforts to help drive economic growth.

The event takes place in Mountain View at the Microsoft Silicon Valley Campus, 1065 La Avenida St., Bldg. 1, Mountain View, Calif.

10 a.m. White House Initiative on AAPIs executive director Kiran Ahuja, White House Council of Economic Advisors senior advisor Ronnie Chatterji, Small Business Administration regional administrator Elizabeth Echols and Department of Treasury deputy assistant secretary Don Graves discuss resources for business owners, entrepreneurs and investors.

12:45 p.m. Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus Chair Rep. Mike Honda, D-Calif., delivers remarks on innovation, data and technology.

1 p.m. White House National Economic Council senior advisor Ginger Lew, White House chief technology officer Aneesh Chopra and Department of Health and Human Services chief technology officer Todd Park discuss the Obama Administration’s efforts to promote job growth and business development.
