The City of Milpitas Youth Advisory Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm in the Teen Center. Founded April 1996. The Youth Advisory Commission (YAC) was established to advise the Council on matters pertaining to youth and teens in Milpitas. Commissioners must be in grades 7 through 12 and live in Milpitas. Members and alternates are appointed to one-year terms. Samu Tiumalu currently serves as the Teen Center Program Coordinator. For more information visit the City of Milpitas website.
