Street Eats and Food Trucks Return this Wednesday Outside Big Lots in Milpitas
The Milpitas Street Eats food truck event is scheduled 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 5 in the Big Lots parking lot at 200 Serra Way in Milpitas.
Gourmet food trucks are expected back in Milpitas on Wednesday, after rain-related postponements the past two weeks.
The lineup this week includes Blast Off, Tasteebytes, Spice it Up Cafe, Gold Rush Eatery, Takoz Mod Mex, Biggshrimp'n, Louisana Territory, according to Food Truck Mafia and the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce, organizers of the event.
Dec. 19 is the last scheduled Street Eats food truck event in Milpitas this year, due to expected winter weather, CJ Ericson of the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce said in a phone interview Tuesday Dec. 4.

Streets Eats and gourmet food trucks are expected to return in March 2013, Ericson said.

The Milpitas Chamber of Commerce began organizing Street Eats food truck events in November 2011, Ericson said.
