Last Chance for Tickets to Inaugural 'State of the State' Luncheon
State Senator Ellen Corbett and Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski will be on hand at this Chamber-sponsored luncheon to discuss state budget problems, the economy, local businesses and more.
This Tuesday, Oct. 25, is the last day to register to attend for the "State of the State" luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 27. The event is sponsored in partnership by the Milpitas, Fremont and Union City chambers of commerce.
The featured speakers will be State Senator Ellen Corbett and Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski. Topics of discussion will include state budget challenges, economic growth, business support and job creation.

The luncheon will take place at the Fremont Marriott Hotel, 46100 Landing Parkway in Fremont. From 11:30 a.m. to noon will be check-in and networking opportunties, and the program will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are $42 for chamber members or $65 for nonmembers. To register, call the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce at 408-262-2613.
