The City of Milpitas’ Veterans Commission is proud to announce the first “Milpitas Veteran of the Year” award. Nominations are now being accepted for Milpitas Resident veterans who have given unselfishly to the Milpitas community. The 2012 Veteran of the Year will be recognized at the City of Milpitas’ Veterans Day Ceremony on Sunday, November 11.
Nomination forms are available now at all City public facilities, Milpitas Public Library or can be downloaded online at www.ci.milpitas.ca.gov , on the Veterans Commission page. Nominations must be submitted by October 1.
